Our team has been waiting for more information on the long range plan for Omaha Parks and Recreation to be revealed but have yet to receive more information. With the trail system in the Omaha area in full use, we are aware there have been some interesting questions, concerns, and ideas popping up. Therefore, we’ve scheduled a meeting with specific invitations to both Omaha Parks and the OPD Bike Patrol. Our main objective is trail safety, with attention on signs and underpass issues, as well as the general safety of all trail users. We are hoping to develop action items to put needed initiatives into place that are grounded in more legal authenticity.

The trail system has been busy this season. Personally, I love seeing the Creighton Prep cross country runners out there training and their amazing determination!
